My journey in healthcare commenced over 30 years ago as an Obstetrician-Gynecologist in Vietnam, where I had the privilege of supporting women’s health during some of life’s most critical moments. Subsequently, I transitioned into family medicine, continuing to provide comprehensive care across all stages of life. While clinical practice remains a core passion, a significant milestone in my career was pursuing a Master of Public Health at Boston University in 2001. It was during this time that I developed a strong interest in healthcare data science.
Since then, I have gained extensive experience with a variety of data management and analysis tools, observing the evolution of healthcare information systems over the past two decades. From spreadsheets to advanced analytics platforms, I have actively engaged with each technological advancement. My work with healthcare data enables me to connect my clinical experience with data-driven insights to enhance service quality, support patient outcomes, and inform strategic decision-making at all levels.
Today, data analysis is both a professional focus and a personal interest. I am inspired by the potential of meaningful data patterns to drive tangible improvements in public health and patient care. My efforts are driven by a lifelong dedication to leveraging both medical expertise and data analytics to create smarter, more efficient, and patient-centered healthcare solutions.
